Land Clearing

What is it, and why
do we need it?

Land clearing is the first thing you want to consider before purchasing property. If it wasn’t that’s ok, it most certainly will be the first thing you look at after purchasing. Simply stated it is the process of removing any obstacles that may plague or derail the growth or expansion of your property. It can include uprooting your land to clearing vegetation, trees, rocks, brush, tree stumps or debris. Its sole purpose is to clear paths and make way for your dreams to come to fruition.

With its ability to mare mother earth’s natural beauty and gifts, it’s easy to view Land clearing with a negative perspective. Here at Texas Land Works we see the necessary step in developing your property for improvement or growth but we also value its natural state and we work hard to take only what is necessary.

But How

Bulldozing can make molehills into mountains or mountains into molehills. This is the first thing most people think of when they think of land clearing. It’s true that a dozer is used for its brute force ability to move & manipulate your piece of the earth’s surface. We use this machine and this tactic for the clean slate areas by removing trees or large swaths of brush, large rocks, mounds of debris. This is also the machine and tactic used when creating or digging ponds.

Sometimes your project needs brute force, with a gentle touch. With a well-practiced and conscience operator, the bulldozer has the capability to be just as kind to earth’s surface as it is brut. We use this tactic when reshaping your landscape to correct drainage issues.

We use smaller machines to fineness your lands surface or placing a fine point on the masterpiece you have imagined your investment will become

Excavators/ Motor Graders:

These are used to move larger swaths of land or material without digging as deep into the earth’s surface as a bulldozer. This leveling stage helps us to ensure we have maintained the set grade required for water flow through and away from your property

Skid Steers

Are used to clear or move smaller swaths of earth, backfilling areas and underbrush removal. It’s the ideal tool for placing those final touches on the preparation of your property. A signature for this stage of growth if you will
